great value! Ideally suiting smaller venues and lightweight setups, the Tournos 6000 is born. Following the popularity of both its larger brothers, the Tournos 10000 Big Pit and 8000 Tournos, Sonik managed to utilise its vast expertise in reel development to produce a feature-packed, superbly built and reasonably priced reel in a much smaller package. Where performance, durability and control are concerned, the Tournos 6000 ticks all the boxes. Built from a high-strength carbon composite the body and rotor has been built to last and withstand the rigours of modern-day carp angling.

Following the success of the Tournos reel range, namely the 8000 and smaller 6000fs Black, Sonik has added to it with the Tournos 10000. Similar in design to the 8000, it has been beefed up to cope with longer-range fishing and an angled spool lip and improved line lay will reduce friction, improving overall distance. The sturdy body and insides make the reel feel built to last. Neat touches like the twin line clips allow you to clip up to multiple spots.

Following the success of the original Tournos 8000, Sonik has introduced a new version, this time with a free-spool facility. In keeping with modern trends, the FS retains its black finish, chunky bail arm and minimalist design. The free-spool lever and adjust knob are not overly obtrusive, yet remain accessible and easy to engage. The free spool disengages with no more than a third of a turn of the handle, which is essential when taking on your battle with the carp.
