Carbon sticks are all the rage these days, and why not. The originals were ultra-expensive but these days they are more within the range of the everyday carper.

The price, as with most things, can reflect the quality, but the mid-range stuff coming out these days is impressive and these Vendas are a good example.

I like the fact that they’re made in two sizes, suited to different ranges. I’ve been playing with the small one on my local club lake, which is only a couple of acres, and it has been far more accurate at short ranges than a longer stick ever is.

Both are as light, as you’d expect from the carbon build, and the finish is excellent. You would be forgiven for thinking that these cost maybe twice as much as they do. (MC)
