Control Mono
Supplied on hefty 1,250m spools, this high tensile monofilament main line from PB Products is the perfect choice when looking to respool multiple reels with fresh line for the season ahead. Considering the given retail price, this main line option offers incredible value, where five breaking strains are available for purchase. These include 11lb, 18lb, 24lb, 28lb and 33lb. 
What is most noticeable with every breaking strain is the staggeringly low diameter that each possesses. For instance, the 18lb test Control Mono measures only 0.30mm, while the thickest measures just 0.43mm. This therefore means that this particular main line offers superior casting performance, allowing the thinner than average line to pass through the rings with ease. A smooth silicone coating further enhances this, allowing anglers to reach marks they have never hit before with a monofilament. 
A low stretch also means there is direct contact, offering better transfer of feeling from the lead to the rod tip when feeling your cast down to the bottom. Extreme abrasion resistance is also welcome, making the Control Mono a take-anywhere option. Yet it is the minimal line memory which is found in more expensive main lines that sets this particular offering from the rest.

Control Mono Fluo
Supplied on the same 1,250m spool with all the same great features, PB Products Control Mono is also available in a ‘Fluo’ variation, and this orange main line allows you to easily see your line in an array of scenarios! 
When boat fishing, long has it been an issue of running the risk of picking up your line in the propeller, which can cause untold carnage, and in most cases you would have to fully respool one rod. Not all that easy if you are abroad, don’t carry spare main line or if you don’t have access to tackle shops.
