Dan Murrell’s verdict - I’m looking forward to further tests with these.

These are as similar in pattern to my favoured 360 hooks (sadly, no longer available) as I’ve seen, so I borrowed them for ‘review’ before anybody else could! I like big hooks, so therefore tied up some 360s with the size 4 in conjunction with a size 11 ring swivel.

The weight of the two allows me to not use any putty – the fewer components the better in my opinion – and it all balances perfectly. So far, so good – the rig has worked and a couple of carp that I’ve caught on them have been well nailed. My only concern is there seems to be a small element of play in the hook when bench testing them. However, this hasn’t caused any issues yet in a fishing scenario.

If it does not lose me a fish then I’ll then start experimenting with the smaller sizes, probably head to head against my dwindling supply of original 360 hooks.
