I owned one of the original Rig Safes but found it a bit bulky. However, Korda’s newer versions are spot-on. One of these is the Mini Rig Safe Combo and I can’t wait to fill this one with a few rigs of my own.

We love this!

The smaller size, compared with the bigger Rig Safe, which has also been redesigned, is ideal for storing shorter rigs, up to eight inches, and will hold 30 at a time.

On the inside of the lid, Korda has added three sets of compartment boxes, offering 12 compartments for storing small items such as swivels and other rig bits.

Closure is secure thanks to twin corner magnets and the overall feel is robust. Korda has also included two types of pins for securing rigs both with loops or unfinished tag ends. Overall, I like both of the new Rig Safes, the larger of which will be featured in these pages next month.

So much so, in fact, that I’ve pulled rank for once and have claimed our review samples for my own use! (MC)
