I’ve wanted a Fox box for many years but have struggled to justify the price tag. However, Fox’s Royale version is much more keenly priced, although thanks to TC I didn’t have to pay for this one and was delighted when asked to review it.

It’s been great so far and I can get loads of tackle and essential items into it. Although it sounds a bit of a cliché, it is literally a TARDIS for terminal tackle.

There are loads of internal boxes that house smaller items and a rig board, although I don’t use this. My only slight gripe is that some of the lids on the smaller boxes are not a very tight fit and one or two don’t always close easily.

Overall, I’m really pleased with the Royale box and would recommend it those who do not want to spend a fortune on such storage.
