Designed after the huge success of RidgeMonkey’s Action Station, these new adaptors are made with alternative uses in mind. The first will hold an action camera (GoPro and so on) and either screw into a bankstick or attach to the Action Station clamp (depending on which model you go for). The second one, my favourite, houses the RidgeMonkey bivvy light and, again, allows attachment to a bankstick or bivvy frame via the clamp. This opens up a world of uses for the light, some of which we are already experimenting with.
Awesome! There are a few underwater cameras available these days but none that can do what the FishSpy does, and that is to beam live pictures back to your phone or device in real time.
What’s even more impressive is that it does so without the need for any phone signal, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi because it creates its own Wi-Fi signal unique to each unit and synced device. So, how does it work? Well, in layman’s terms, you cast it out as you would a marker float and let it up to the surface, at which point it will begin connection to the synced device. Once connection is established you can live view exactly what the camera sees.
PUKKA! If cool-looking indicators are your thing, and you haven’t been living under a rock for the last few years, you’ll be familiar with this versatile and varied range of heads.
Designed in conjunction with Muddy Waters, they are the choice of very many carp anglers, especially those who want their kit to look just right. However, it is not just in the looks department that they score highly.
With several sizes ranging from the smallest (10mm x 22mm) Clinga Old Skool, the slimline Clinga Lite, my favourites the Clinga Dumpy, Clinga Standard and then the daddies of the bunch the Clinga XL, XXL and Long Range, there really is a head size and weight to suit every occasion.

I have two weaknesses when it comes to carp kit… bobbins and little bags, and these are right up my street. In fact, I use one of these very sacks to keep some of my bobbins in!
Available in DPM and plain green, there are three sizes and all of them come in extremely useful whatever you’re trying to store and keep organised. Unlike more rigid luggage or even boxes, they take up very little room and if, like me, you’ve been trying to cut your kit down a bit, they are spot-on.
The relatively padded, quilted construction makes for some protection for the contents and a drawstring means they can be closed up if needs be.
Are you getting tired of having banksticks rattling around in your rod bag or falling out of your unhooking mat?
Well the team at Nash has the solution. Measuring in at 60 (l) x 16 (w) x 8 centimetres (d) the dedicated luggage solution boats elastic retaining loops and offers ample space to hold up to eight individual sticks complete with alarms, indicators and rear rod rests.
A heavy-duty zip gives three-sided access for ease of use and with a padded divider it helps to keep all your items in tiptop condition, even when in transit. (DM)

Lee Jackson’s verdict - Well worth a look, especially at this price! 4/5
Tackle Box’s Lee Jackson says: Although these indicator heads have been available for a number of years, the first time I actually got to use a set was on a trip to Rainbow Lake in France in 2015 and I’ve used them ever since.
What impressed me most was that even when the LED on my bite alarm was trying its best to burn a hole in my retinas, the bobbin still stood out. The Power Glo heads are available in five colours – red, green, amber, white or blue – and come supplied with a line clip and are compatible with all Solar and most other companies’ chains and hockey sticks.
Each head is powered by two supplied LR44 batteries, and once the head is turned on, the LED in the bobbin is switched on and becomes highly visible once it gets dark.
Before the cynics pipe up and start, yes it is another bucket, but don’t look at what you can put in this bucket, think about how it can work for you.
Being a modular system, straight from the off it is one item of tackle that you can tailor to suit your requirements.
This can help you to eliminate other items of clumsy bulky luggage, enabling you to keep everything to hand in one convenient place. With two independent tubs inside complete with tight-fitting lids and the ability to be frozen, you can either use them to store terminal tackle or, once attaching them to the side of the bucket, fill them with water and test your rigs.

It’s that time of year when the fish spend most of their time in the upper layers, but how can you present a hook bait there inconspicuously?
This incredibly fine yet strong hook link may just be the answer.
The Lo-Viz fluorocrystal characteristics make it virtually undetectable underwater, making it a fantastic material for both surface fishing rigs and of course the zig rig.
With a minimal diameter of 0. 25mm this hook link breaks at a very respectable 12.
