INTERCEPTOR FLOATS

Surface floats are by no means a new invention and the missile shape has always been regarded as one of the best floats for casting and providing that super-effective bolt effect. Designed to be changed in a matter of seconds you can flit from the smallest of the bunch at 5g right the way through the sizes up until the 80g, so no matter how far the fish move out you can keep a hook bait close to them. A size 11 ring swivel fits perfectly into the nose of the float helping to eradicate tangles when you are casting out, particularly handy when using long hooklengths. With a respectably fine diameter at just 0.22mm for the 7lb version, 0.25mm for 9lb and 0.28mm for the 11lb breaking strain, it is very unobtrusive, ensuring a delicate and subtle approach boosted by the subtle green tint. With a reduced stretch you can keep maximum control over any hooked carp and although it has a fine diameter, when used in conjunction with a knotless knot or palomar knot, it remains durable with high knot strength.
