Cygnet Tackle Bite Indicators

Cygnet Tackle is fast becoming recognised as an authoritative figure in bankware, but what was missing? Bite indication.

Well, after plenty of persuasion, Cygnet has finally revealed its plans to bring a range of bite indication products to the market with Mark Walters, the man behind the famous and prestigious Muddy Waters range.
The Clingas are available in a multitude of sizes to suit each angler’s preference and, of course, individual fishing scenarios.
From the ultra-sensitive and lightweight Old Skool variety, which scores exceptionally well with slack-line anglers and anyone in the ‘Carpy’ fraternity, moving up in size is the still small but superb Clinga Lite, an all-rounder for the majority of fishing, and the Dumpy Clinga, two of the most popular versions you will see gracing the bank.
Then we have the Clinga Standard sitting in middle ground, weighing in between 6g and 8g, before we get to my favourites. Designed primarily for distance fishing the XL and XXL are equally suited to large inland pits and rivers these weigh between 35g and 75g.
Each bobbin head houses a 3x25mm isotope slot, and a vast array of chains from black metal to Dacron can be brought to customise your setup. As you would expect, a vast array of colours is available so it really is just your imagination that will limit your presence on the bank. (DM)
