Throughout the years, Delkim products have featured heavily in setups across the globe and for very good reason. Their market leading bite indication and proven reliability have been top tier selling points for carp anglers of all abilities. Yet with strong competition and advances in technology, there were improvements that could be made and Delkim has done just that, where it has recently announced its latest bite alarm in the form of the TXI-D V2. 

Whilst this latest Delkim release may appear to be very similar in appearance to the TXI-D, it is largely the internal workings that have seen numerous changes. Following the release of its predecessor, which was its first alarm release in 15 years, Delkim received plenty of feedback based on various cases of troubled user experience. As any good company would, it has listened and has proceeded to make the various necessary changes. One of the biggest complaints for the TXI-D was that the user interface was convoluted, but this is absolutely not the case now with the V2. 

Delkim has decided to utilise a one button, one function approach, which will massively simplify the need to change the variable tone of the bite alarms, will aid pairing and much more. Presentation sets will also be paired to a receiver straight out of the box, which is an industry first. Another big change for the established brand is the introduction of multi-coloured LEDs, with the choice of purple, red, white, blue, green and yellow. A new robust outer coating significantly enhances the durability of every bite alarm when used in all weather conditions and a brand new synthetic rubber applied to the circuit boards helps prevent any unwanted electrical issues. It is clear that Delkim wishes to stick to its roots by staying with its base design and unique vibration sensing system, which allows for some of the very best bite indication available. It is also important to note that the TXI-D V2 is compatible with the previous generation of receiver in the form of the RX-D, whereas the brand new RX-D V2 allows for 12 alarms to be programmed at any one time, automatically pairing the chosen colour of alarm to receiver.
