Bait giant backs top fishery.
Somerset’s famous bagging Mecca, Viaduct Fishery, has teamed up with bait giant Bait-Tech.

The popular southwest venue, famed for its huge catches of big, hard-fighting carp and colossal bags of silver fish, will now be known as Bait-Tech Viaduct Fishery, with the immediate launch of an ongoing sponsorship programme.

Bait-Tech’s Andy Neal commented: “Viaduct is an amazing place – beautiful and tranquil, with unrivalled fishing potential. Keeping a venue like this in such great condition needs a specialist touch and I take my hat off to Steve Long and Paul Greenwood who own and run it. They have definitely mastered the science of fishery management.

“I’ve had my eye on Viaduct for a long time and our portfolio of products suits it perfectly. With both businesses growing, the time was right to speak to Steve and Paul about a collaboration between us. This now gives Bait-Tech a showcase venue that we are very proud to be involved with. Far from being just a big-weight match venue, Viaduct caters for the specialist angler too. Carp to over 28lb top a population of species that all seem to grow big. It even boasts a huge potential for perch with fish to well over 4lb caught regularly.
