Bait

Never has a more appropriate name been given to a product, as the rest of the DHP office staff will testify after we accidentally sprayed some on bait while indoors.
The smell is not offensive, we’ve likened it to beef-flavoured Hula Hoops, but it lingers for days. Herein lies its strength. Just one spray onto a hook bait, floater or zig and, unlike many additives, it stays on the bait for a very long time, multiple casts in fact.

I don’t believe that there is a wonder additive out there that’s guaranteed to grab every carp’s attention at all times and Stinky Stuff didn’t set my session alight when I used it. I did, however, notice that once the baits had been out a while the carp actually found them more attractive.

I wouldn’t necessarily use it all the time, but it’s well worth keeping a can in your bait bucket for when you need to turn a trick to get a bite. Be warned, though, it really does stink!
