Red boilies prove key to big Pringles fish. Big carp ace Mark Parish enjoyed a great session at Cambridgeshire’s Pingles Pool Syndicate a couple of days ago, banking a 36lb 2oz monster mirror carp. Mark caught the fish, nicknamed ‘The Warrior’ at 36lb 2oz, on Premium Carp Bait’s Red Berry boilies – and it is believed to be the first capture of the fish since March 2011!. .

Jamie Simpson enjoys great start to year. Avid's Jamie Simpson kicked of his year in style, banking a cracking 25lb mirror on his first session of the year. "I'd done a couple of sessions on The Monument in Shropshire before Christmas and, although I'd struggled a bit, I knew exactly where the carp were holding up for the winter. Every time I'd fished the lake, I'd seen carp showing in the same area time and time again.
