Esp Five Rod Quiver And Sleeve

When it comes to tackle I wouldn’t say I was that hard to please. I like simple, efficient and something that will last.
Having used this quiver and sleeve for well over a month, and a fair few sessions, I can say that it is currently ticking all the boxes.

As with most quivers, the simplistic design makes it perfect for me, saving room when loading the car. Equally, when the rods are in the water I don’t have a large rod bag to store. The system takes my five rods and five big-pit reels snugly, with ample room for my umbrella, landing net and bankware.

The sleeve then covers the whole system and with 12ft rods the complete blank is covered, protecting it from rain ingress and providing suitable protection for the rod rings and line when left set up. With a partial-length zip the sleeve fits effortlessly over the top and can then be secured with Velcro, allowing access to both the carry and shoulder straps.

Sold separately, the pull-cord adjustable reel pouches all fasten together via a buckle and clip system allowing them to stay together in transit. This makes the entire system neat and organised as well as being easily detached should you need to remove or add another rod and reel combo.

One thing that I think could improve this would be the addition of a lead pouch on the side but in all honesty that’s just me being picky, and of the several rod bags I have owned this has been a similar improvement I could have made on the vast majority of them.

Over all this is a brilliant product that won’t break the bank and I look forward to using it and retouching on this review a few months down the line.

Dan’s verdict: Incredible value-for-money rod system.
