Carper luggage range

Sometimes in fishing all you really need are simple pieces of tackle, items that can relied upon time and time again without having to worry about the retail cost. Carper Tackle’s luggage range is a fine example of simple and affordable tackle that will help you get the job done, whether you fish occasionally or with any form of regularity. Almost all of the items in the range are constructed from a durable and water resistant Core-Tec material, with a wipe clean internal lining and the range itself covers everything that the modern carp angler would possibly need, whilst providing protection and of course, it looks great!

For the bulk of your items the Large Carryall and 50 Litre Rucksack can carry the vast majority of kit needed for a day or night session. Both have no shortage of storage options, with the carryall featuring three external pockets, an internal zipped pocket in the lid as well as a generous main compartment, whilst the Rucksack has five external pockets that are ready to be filled, including a zipped internal pocket. The main benefit of using the rucksack is the reduction of weight from the barrow, and this may be because you are fishing longer sessions, which is where the Bivvy Station comes into play. This fantastic luggage piece reveals a storage bag underneath when the legs are opened out, making fantastic use of the space whilst providing additional storage for kit which may be needed for rig tying, cooking, etc. You are limited only by your imagination!

Rod protection is of course included in the luggage range, where at present a Three Rod Holdall and Single Rod Sleeve are currently available. Both will accept 12ft rods, big pit reels and 50mm butt rings, are installed with reinforced carry handles and are also compatible with each other, meaning the Single Rod Sleeve can be readily attached to the Three Rod variant. With the larger of the two, there are internal padded dividers to protect your rods and reels from any unwanted knocks, a rear pocket that will hold landing nets, storm poles and as previously mentioned, additional rods. Which leads on to the miscellaneous luggage items such as the elasticated tip and butt protectors and the neoprene tip and butt protectors, which serve an equal purpose, and are great for using with and without any rod protection.

Two cool bags also offer the angler an opportunity to keep refreshments at their very best whilst bankside. Both the large and standard sized bags feature fully insulated walls, as well as a wipe clean foil lining. They are suitable for food and bait, where they also make use of a reinforced base to prevent moisture penetration from its underside. The Standard Cool Bag has a 20 litre capacity whereas the Large has a larger internal space, including a padded external pocket.

Tackle pouches are also available, including a medium and a large version and a lead pouch. All three incorporate heavy duty zips with moulded pullers, with internal dividers to separate their respective contents. A high density foam padding also helps protects items from being damaged inside and outside of each pouch.

Add to this many other useful items like the welded net and sling bag or the gas canister cover and you can see that the Carper Tackle luggage range is certainly able to compete with many of the longer serving brands!
