I use the Resolute hard anodised aluminium bankware and absolutely love it. So when this pod came to my attention I just had to get one in for a closer look. It’s compact, very compact in fact, and its simple design is both functional and extremely robust, yet despite its simplicity I think it looks great too, especially with rods on. There is a ‘standard’ version as well but, brilliantly, CAS will actually custom build them to your spec, including spirit levels and bobbin threads that can be integrated. How good is that! Two uprights, buzz bars, a central boss and four legs is all it takes but every bit of it is made with precision and from excellent components. It’s also lightweight and I love how easy it is to take down and pack away into an extremely small package. Mine is the two-rod version, but there is also a three-rod. My three-rod Resolute bars also fit this one. If you’ve not seen or used the Resolute gear then check it out now, especially this pod, which I think is wicked! (MC)
