Avid Carp Transit Quiver And Sleeves

Aquiver system remains the preferred mode of rod transport for many anglers, largely thanks to its adaptability and versatility.

Storing up to five made-up rods on external, padded sleeves, and with room in the central body for a small-to-medium-sized shelter or brolly, the Avid Transit Quiver ticks all the boxes required of such a system. The main body is made from hard-wearing material and immediately feels robust and built to last. There are both Velcro loops for attaching rods without the use of sleeves, or clips for attaching the proprietary padded sleeves. The central handle aids lifting the quiver in and out of the car, and on and off the barrow, and although there is a shoulder strap most anglers do not need this these days, with the proliferation of barrows available.

Finally, pockets for landing net, pole and banksticks are also present, as is a padded rod-retaining strap, which wraps around either unsleeved rods or the sleeves themselves once mounted. The quiver that we looked at came complete with five three-quarter-length padded sleeves, although you can buy each item separately. The padding is more than adequate to protect any expensive rods inside, each has a handy lead pouch on the outside and they also clip together to further help keep the rods secured and nicely compact.
