Total Carp is the first magazine to receive the entire set and we’ve been hugely impressed right from the get-go. As you’d expect from Aqua, quality is in abundance, with the trusted Cordura featuring throughout. We love the use of black detailing and zips, hence the name, which is a break from the bog-standard green.

In terms of looks, this stuff is absolutely spot-on. It’s also built to last and will cope with the rigours of modern carp angling.

However, it’s in its modular system that the Black Series really impresses. Okay, so most luggage companies produce multiple items that, I guess, can be used in conjunction with one another, but the Black Series is specifically designed to do so.

I love the fact that on the back of every box there is a matrix showing exactly which products work with which – so literally no stone has been left unturned by Aqua in its design and presentation.

Aqua is on to an absolute winner with the Black Series range and it comes as no surprise that the initial batches have already sold into the shops in their entirety. If I were you, I’d be hotfooting it to your nearest Aqua stockist and checking it out right now!
