Trakker Core Multi Suit

Getting cold is no fun. With clear, freezing nights, bitter winds and icy rain very much likely for the next few months, now is the time to wrap up.

This new, all-encompassing, three-piece, multi-layer suit is the perfect system to keep you protected from the elements, so all you need to worry about is your fishing. With a 100 per cent polyester construction the suit boasts a heavyweight waterproof rating of 5,000mm on both the trousers and jacket. A zip-out microfleece is attached to the jacket via easy to use button poppers internally, making it a doddle to detach and wear as a single garment should you wish. The jacket boasts two large fleece-lined zip external pockets that, believe me, are very welcome come the cold nights. An elasticated storm hood is standard, making sure you really can protect yourself when it gets a little rough outside. Moving down the combo to the thermal-lined trousers, they too are well equipped for all you may encounter while bank-bound.

Reinforced knee panels are a nifty little edge, perfect for when you’re kneeling down sorting out your bobbins, or hopefully cradling that special winter target you’ve been waiting for. A double button popper and zip fly make the trousers easy to secure and an elasticated adjustable waist means you can get the exact comfortable fit time and time again. They also boast two fleece-lined handwarmer pockets and an adjustable Velcro hem. I have been lucky enough to try this jacket out for a few nights and with temperatures plummeting to minus 3ºC I was comfortably warm without feeling too restricted to free movement, a problem associated with large puffy winter suits. You honestly warm up in an instant and retain that all important heat for the duration of it’s wear.

DAN MURRELL’s VERDICT “A great addition to any serious carp angler’s wardrobe”
