Marc says: If you’re anything like me, then you probably go through stages when a certain rig is in vogue. For me at the moment, this is the hinged stiff rig and I tend to use this stiff material to tie mine.

Available in several breaking strains, I like the 20lb because it offers enough rigidity without being impossible to use. The colour, a translucent green, appeals to me and I find it easy to shape into a curve after tying the hook section.
