Intelligent touches and smart insights in a new range of product from the Avid brand. Tackle brand Avid Carp has announced a number of new products set to hit the shops before Christmas. Including new bivvies, brollies, accessories and some clever little pieces of terminal tackle, Total Carp were invited to take a sneak peak at what’s going to be on offer, with Avid’s own Jon ‘Shoes’ Jones and Ian Russell talking us through the new kit. Massive mirror is one of biggest fully scaled specimens in the country. One of the biggest fully scaled mirror carp in the country has been landed at a weight of 47lb 14oz. The fish was banked by angler Bojan Tesin after he targeted the massive specimen at Cotton Farm syndicate water, run by carp legend Lee Jackson. A bailiff on the syndicate for the past eight years, Bojan knows the fish well, having landed it some five years previously at 30lb.
