Over the last season Sticky Krill has been one of the baits that everyone has been talking about, but we understand that not everyone can afford to bait up regularly with a boilie and spend a fortune to try and help achieve maximum results. No-one can question the bait authority that’s Gary Bayes, so when we heard that Nash was developing a bait that has been adjusted, tweaked and played with over the last six years by the man himself we were dying to have a look. The reason so much time and resources have been used in creating this bait is because of the pure research that has gone in to natural ingredients that are rich in vitamins, minerals and the essential trace elements. With a blend of over 40 spices and a dozen essential oils, this bait has been carefully constructed utilising puréed and pre-blended elements of which some have been time aged for up to two months to create the highest, most desirable feeding response. Although there are so many alternatives these days, I must admit to still being a fan of leadcore. I don’t honestly think that using it has ever cost me a bite, so I’m in no rush to switch. There has always been an issue with safely setting up a helicopter rig so that the top bead is secure enough on the cast but will release the hook link in the event of a breakage.
