Five years.

How did you start carp fishing?
Going to a park lake with some mates.

I like football but don’t play it.

One day left to go fishing, where would you go?
Lake Bled.

Worst fishing-related injury?
Nothing too bad, just the usual hook through the finger.

Rob Burgess, Bev Clifford and Chris ‘Bonesy’ Holmes.

Favourite capture?
My first Carthagena carp.

Three things you’d never go fishing without?
Powerpack, Instagram and a pot of Mulbz.

Biggest character you have met through fishing?
Burgess and his banter.

What are your favourite bits about carping?
Being out on the bank away from ordinary life.

Packing up in the rain.

When my bivvy blew into the lake on Norton Disney and Spooner had to fish it out!
