Yesterday's top performers in this year's TF Gear Masters, have extended their lead as the event goes in to its penultimate day. The match, which is taking place at Lake Fishabil in France, carries a first prize of £10,000.

Mark Kelynack, who is watching the action at Fishabil, commented: "The fishing is still really hectic here and, with plenty of fish still moving around and feeding, it could be anybody's. That said, the leaders from yesterday, Anglo French pairing Mark Martell and Darren White, have extended their lead, and are now 120lb ahead of the opposition. When you consider the fact that one of the Mainline boys landed a 44lb common last night, though, you realise that it wouldn't take many fish for the leaders to be caught."
