Bait

The fruity aroma of the Essential IB is fantastic and I’ve found it to be an instant bait on busy day-ticket waters.

Although these are shelf-life baits, I appreciate the resealable packaging that helps keen them in tiptop condition. It also allows me to take home what I don’t use – waste not, want not!

I have also used them on a local canal and enjoyed similar success. Because shelf-life baits are slightly firmer than freezer baits I also found them not to take on too much of the stinky, silty smell when using them on the turgid canal bottom.

The pop-ups are super-buoyant and remain so even if pierced. Finally, the dip complements the bottom baits and pop-ups and can add that extra dimension before casting out.
