The Legend Returns

Tim Hodges to edit Advanced Carp Fishing magazine.
Advanced Carp Fishing’s publisher, David Hall Publishing (DHP), has announced that Tim Hodges is to return to the company as editor of the title.

Tim brings a wealth of experience, both in terms of carp fishing and publishing. He was founding editor of Catchmore Carp magazine, that was later bought by DHP and eventually renamed Total Carp, and has worked in the industry for over 20 years.

He commented: “After a spell working as a tackle consultant, it feels great to be back in the world of publishing – and Advanced Carp Fishing presents me with a really new and exciting challenge. My aim is to take the magazine to a new level, both in terms of the editorial content, and, with the help of DHP’s excellent design team, pictorially as well. It is not only going to be the best specialist carp fishing magazine on the market, it is going to look the best too.”

DHP’s group editor of the carp titles, Marc Coulson, added: “I’m excited to have Tim join the team. He’s been in and around the carp scene for years, since his early days fishing venues such as Harefield. He has a wealth of experience, especially when it comes to big-carp baits, and, best of all, he is hugely enthusiastic about what lies ahead.”
