Designed with the mobile angler in mind, this 40-litre-capacity rucksack has been manufactured utilising the robust and durable 50D polyester fabric. Each of the six double-zipped pockets boasts heavy-duty zips and pullers, allowing for safe storage of a variety of tackle items. A high-density, comfortable, padded harness and adjustable straps mean that even when loaded with gear the rucksack is comfortable to wear, which is essential when carrying your gear around on your back. The main compartment also boasts a PVC-backed rain flap to help keep your essentials dry should the weather take a turn for the worse.

Designed to truly be one chair to suit all situations, the Combi is exactly that. It’s a well-dimensioned chair with plenty of padding and support in all the right places. Even with as what you might politely call a bigger frame like mine, it’s plenty comfortable. Fold the rear leg and it converts to one of those chairs that can sit on your bedchair (what exactly do they call those, anyway?) and it works really well in this guise.

The name of this great luggage item does it no justice because it’s really so much more than just for keeping PVA in. I’ve had one of the smaller versions for some time and use it to store all manner of items, but this bigger one is exactly the size that I prefer. In fact, I reckon I can probably fit all of my terminal tackle, PVA, leads and extras needed for all but the longest sessions. This is an absolute winner and proof positive that the best products don’t always need to be the big stuff.

Available in two colourways – brown lens/brown frame and grey lens/charcoal frame – they boast an appearance that is a far cry from the old polarised glasses that many of us used to use. Scratch resistant, TAC polarised lenses offer clear viewing through even choppy water, removing much of the reflection from the water’s surface. They also offer UV400 protection and come complete with EVA case and cleaning cloth.
