Enterprise Tackle Hybrid Boilies

When half a dozen new Enterprise products made their way back from The Big One Show and were deposited on our editor’s desk, he noted a few nice additions to the range, but nothing that immediately stood out.
However, when he and TC’s Max Hendry looked more closely, and took a few products from their packaging, they were struck by one in particular – the Hybrid Boilies.

The more they played around with them, the more they realised that there would be a fight over who got to keep the packet that they’d received!
Inside each pack are eight barrel-shaped, 10mm wafter baits, Frank Warwick’s Fruit Juice variety in this case, along with the Hybrids themselves. These resemble artificial boilies that have been bored out completely through the middle and there are yellow, pink, orange and white versions supplied.

The idea is that the wafters sit inside the Hybrid ‘skins’, thus creating a combination of colours that can be changed easily to offer the carp something a little different. This means you can change the colour and shape of your hook bait instantly, but keep the same flavour. No need to buy numerous tubs of pop-ups in various colours – a pack of Hybrid Boilies and one tub of your barrels will have it covered.

So, a nifty product that the lads thought would have widespread appeal. The more they played around with the baits, the more obvious it became that there were multiple uses – the most obvious of which is as protection against crayfish and small, ‘nuisance’ species.

Their attention then moved to the use of the Hybrids with normal food boilies. Imagine fishing over a bed of Mainline Cell, for example, and using the white Hybrid with a trimmed-down Cell boilie inside. The boys here reckoned this was an absolute winner and within minutes Marc was on the phone to Chris Hornsby at Enterprise for some more!

TC Comment: We think every angler should own a packet or two of these. Why wouldn’t you?
