Best Ever Temple Catch Topped By A Forty Pounder!…

Temple regular Rob O’Neil has just had his best ever session on Temple catching six fish topped by Nemo at 41lb 12oz, The Ghost at 38lb 15oz as well as another stunning thirty, a 30lb 12oz common.
Rob arrived Friday morning first thing and decided to go in peg 9 after seeing a fish jump out next to the pads. The day was warm and bright but at around 6pm it clouded over and the fish started to show. The amount of fish in front of Rob was amazing. They were jumping clean out of the water all over the place.
The first rod went off about 7pm that evening, this was the rod Rob cast to the island. Following a good fight Rob slipped the net under a 29lb 1oz common which was caught using Aqua Dynamix 16mm bottom bait with no freebies around it.
The second run Rob had was during that night which produced a 25lb 12oz mirror which he caught using Aqua Dynamix 12mm scream pop up, with just a hand full of 16mm Deliverz boillies over the top.
The third fish was Nemo. At around 11am Saturday morning Rob struck into his third run of the session and the water exploded from the spot my bait was positioned as a huge powerful fish headed straight up in front of peg 10. Rob managed to turn the fish back and he was trying to go for every snag he could! 20 minutes later Rob had him in the net! As with the mirror, Nemo was caught using Aqua Dynamix 12mm scream pop up with just hand full of boillies over the top.
After sorting himself out and getting the rod back out to the same spot from which Nemo came, 10 minutes later his rod was off again, this time banking a stunning 30lb12oz common! Then back to the same spot and 10 minutes later the rod goes off again, this time banking a cracking 18lb 6oz  common all on the same pop up.
And just as Rob thought that things could not get any better, he had another good run which resulted in him banking The Ghost at 38lb 15oz which he caught on a 12mm Aqua Dynamix pop up from exactly the same spot as Nemo!
Rob commented “I can honestly say this was my best ever session, the feeling of a new PB is great but for it to be a true English 40, well I'm besides myself.”
