Bankside Cuisine | Wholesome Breakfast Porridge

A hearty breakfast porridge will keep you warm now that the days are getting colder and give you the energy for a day searching for your quarry! Avoid the stodge of full english and I promise you that your body will thank you for it!

You’ll need: Ridgemonkey Connect multi purpose pan

Ingredients:
• ½ Cup porridge oats
• 5g Chia seeds
• 1 Cup milk, i used almond for flavour
• 1 plum cut into slices, plus you can use other fruits such as blueberries
• 25g mixed seeds and nuts
• Maple syrup
• Sea salt

Home prep: Mix the porridge oats and chia seeds

Method:

1. The ingredients you'll need for this heartwarming brekky.

2. Measure out half a cup of porridge oats…

3. … followed by a full cup of almond milk.

4. Pour each into the pan.

5. Bring to a gentle simmer.

6. After five minutes, serve the oats.

7. Top with a generous helping of seed mix…

8. … add a few blueberries…

9. … and some peeled plums.

10. Shake on a small amount of cinnamon.

11. Add a helping of maple syrup

12. The secret ingredient is a quick grind of sea salt!
