Bankside Cuisine | McTotal Chicken Burger

Craving the taste of fast food on the bank? Try this simple chicken burger recipe, which we think tastes just as good, if not better than that from the high street!

You'll need: RidgeMonkey XL Toastie Pan

Ingredients:
• 2 small ciabatta
• 1 packet of chicken goujons
• baby gem lettuce
• mayonnaise (or other sauces)
• Cajun chicken seasoning
• low cal oil spray
• trendy slate serving platter (optional)

Home prep: None

Method:

1. Everything you'll need!

2. Start by positioning the goujons evenly in the RidgeMonkey pan.

3. Cook on a low heat and turn regularly.

4. Spray the outer with low calorie spray…

5. … then season with Cajun spice – feel free to mix things up here!

6. Slice open your ciabatta.

7. Place the ciabatta on top of the pan to heat through while you cook your chicken.

8. Once golden brown, check the goujons are well cooked and hot all the way through.

9. Lay on to the ciabatta base and top with leaves of baby gem lettuce.

10. Add a good squirt of mayo to the top half and place on top.
