TC regular Ian “Chilly” Chillcott takes pride and place co-presenting on the new and exciting fishing TV show set for premiere this Thursday, September 25th, 2014 on BT Sport 2. Predation Action Group Meeting Builds Pace

The Predation Action Group got together for their meeting, to discuss the very current issue of Predation of fisheries in the UK. The meeting was held on the 4th of September in Northampton. The PAG members had this to say about the meeting. It was revealed at the meeting that there may be some fencing money available from sources other than the wholly inadequate EA fund.

Previously Uncaught Mirror Comes Out At 34lb

This is thought to be the very first capture of this impressive 34lb 7oz mirror from a Cambridgeshire syndicate water. The owner of which has requested for it not to be named. Syndicate member Eddie ‘Jacko’ Jackson presented a Solar Club Mix hook bait coupled with a combi rig and size 6 Stronghold 101 hook to a small gravel area at 70 yards. Fishing over a spread of 1kg of matching Club Mix freebies, Eddie was ‘blown away’ by this capture.

Over the past few years, A12 Cuton Lakes has been developed into an increasingly popular fishery, both for pleasure anglers and those after the big carp, tench and bream that it now holds. Located on the main A12 London to Ipswich road at Chelmsford in Essex, A12 Cuton Lakes are just a few minutes drive from the large Army and Navy roundabout, Chelmer Village and an Asda supermarket. Although the fishery is literally just a stone's throw from the A12 it cannot be reached from the main road. Instead, leave the A12, drive through Chelmer Village and then out into the countryside.
