On September 5th we attended the Trakker and Cygnet trade show. We saw all manner of new products that will be hitting the shelves of your tackle shop in the very near future. We were impressed by the new Cayman bivvy, available in one and two-man sizes, the two-man is massive and easily big enough for two people, great for a week abroad or for those of you who like longer sessions in comfort on the bank in the UK.

The next product that caught our eye was the awesome X-Trail Pro Barrow, which is fully adjustable and is also suppiled with a neat barrow bag. Trakker also had some of its winter hats on show, which look stylish enough to wear in the high street as well as on the bank.

We were also impressed by the new Pertex sleeping bag, which looks ideal for those of you who fish the gruelling winter nights.

Cygnet Tackle also had some of its carpy-looking bank hardware on show. The Snug buzz bars looked ideal for anglers who like their rods tight together. Available in two and three-rod versions and finished with a low-profile black, they look proper ‘tarty’. Among the buzz bars and rod pods, Cygnet also showed us some of its accessories, such as the new distance sticks that we used in the August issue of Total Carp in the tip of the month on bankstick wraps. The company also has some neat Quicklock Butt Rests that feature spring-tensioned arms to lock your rod in place.
