Temple's Infamous Nemo Banked At 41 Lb 14 Oz

Temple's infamous Nemo was caught on Sunday night weighing 41 lb 14 oz. The McGinnis brothers made the most of the mild weather and perfect conditions on Temple this weekend catching 4 fish between them which included both Nemo and Two Tone which weighed 32 lb.


Arriving midday Saturday, Dan McGinnis was soon into the first of his two fish at 16.30, Two Tone weighing 32 lb (see photo below) which was followed at 4.00 Sunday morning by 'Gordon' the BIG Mirror weighing 29 lb 8 oz (see photo below). Fishing peg 9, Dan caught Two Tone on a critical balanced Oxford Carp Co McNut boilie and 'Gordon' on 2 x 16mm McNut boilies with both fish coming from close to the far margin.

Not to be outdone by his younger brother, Adam McGinnis turned the heat up at 21.30 Sunday evening catching Temple's infamous Nemo at 41lb 14 oz! Fishing peg 11, Adam fished on Oxford Carp Baits (OCB) MC Nut boilie which was critically balanced over a kilo of chops to the open water. Adam then went on to catch an 18lb 8oz common from the bottom of the shelf of the island margin, again on an MC Nut boilie which he fished over a handful of chops.
