A historic and well regarded park lake situated in the southeast region of London. Constructed in 1982, Burgess Park soon became a haven for wildlife and fishing began in 1985.

Nine individual reservoirs make up the Walthamstow Reservoir network but 1, 2 and 3 are the ones that carp anglers will be interested in. With some prestigious fish running to over 40lb and depths averaging 10 to 12 feet, it can be tricky at times.

Big Lake is a prolific 10-acre venue housing 30 bark chipped swims, many of which are doubles or triples. With a depth of four to eight feet, Big Lake is home to a good head of carp. Night fishing is available
