The Sticky Krill range has been causing quite a stir in the carp world of late. The likes of Jim Shelley are hauling on it, making it the bait to be on this year. The figurehead of the range is the devastating boilies. Made with high-quality, natural Krill powder, they are available in shelf-life and frozen varieties in 12, 16 and 20mm.
If there is one word that has taken the bait scene by storm in the last two years its krill. Leading on from the popularity of both the freezer and shelf-life varieties of boilies, Sticky is not a company known for resting on its laurels and has since produced a product that we are sure will strike it big in the carp market.
Utilising the undisputable and downright irresistible pulling power of the humble little aquatic critter, the krill, Sticky has conjured up what can only be described as one of the most universal ready to go baits ever. With a moist pellet-like texture, this high oil mix can be effortlessly moulded around feeders or leads straight from the bag, as well as more traditional methods such as adding to PVA bags, mesh sticks, spod mixes or introduced as loose feed.
Over the last season Sticky Krill has been one of the baits that everyone has been talking about, but we understand that not everyone can afford to bait up regularly with a boilie and spend a fortune to try and help achieve maximum results. For this reason alone, we decided to take three products from the existing Krill range that we not only have faith in but you can use to your advantage time and time again without breaking the bank. Several of us in the office swear by the Krill Wafters as one of the best solid-PVA-bag hook baits ever. The extra buoyancy aids in hooking and their pulling power is unquestionable.

It is no surprise that Sticky offers some of the softest baits around, even when you buy shelf life. This is great because many anglers love a soft bait, yet it can present a problem on the hair. Well not any more. By simply adding eggs you can now roll your own dedicated hook baits with everything in this one tub, even the instructions! The great edge is that you can tweak or tailor your mix to suit your rigs and whatever little edges you may have up your sleeve.

For a long time behind the scenes, the boys at Sticky have been accounting for some of the country’s finest carp by using their own secret little gems. The company has now secured access to the complete complex list of ingredients and is finally making these baits available to the masses. Utilising no fewer than 10 unique liquids and two powerful, highly attractive fruit palatants, these baits are something special. There has been rigorous testing and tweaking to ensure that each bait has the optimum pH level to encourage a feeding response.
By no stretch of the imagination am I a big boilie angler, due to cost, not through choice, I hasten to add. To give these a fair test I thought I would use them in my normal situations over beds of particles. However, I also wanted to give single hook baits a go because this is a method that I rarely use. The first thing I noticed was the sheer amount that you get in a pot; serious value for money.
Using good bait is one thing but having a hook bait that stands out from the norm is another and can often result in a quick bite or continuous action.
The range from Sticky needs no introduction, having been on form for the past several seasons, and it has recently launched a few new wafter hook baits to accompany the proven Krill range and the extremely effective Signature flavour profile.
The Signatures are designed as highly attractive single hook baits with a fruity sweet aroma in pastel fluoro colours such as white, yellow and pink. Available in 12mm and 16mm, these can be used in conjunction with snowman presentations, PVA bags or balanced hook baits.
