These hook baits are half bottom-bait and half pop-up, so they will sink slowly under the weight of the hook. We particularly like those with two contrasting colours

A brand-new range from Dynamite Baits incorporating a protein-rich fishmeal base and high levels of green-lipped mussel extract. The dark-green colour looks discreet and natural and all the food signals will be too, so it looks a good bet for carp that have seen it all before and spook off more unnatural baits. GLM is a hugely successful ingredient, so this bait looks well set to be a real winner. Dynamite BaitsGLM BoiliesRRP: £9.

When Dynamite combined a new fruit-based palatant with its already hugely successful Monster Tiger Nut recipe, the result was a bait that is instantly accepted by carp and which also proved a valid long-term food source through testing. Although all new baits will claim to have an immediate impact when introduced, it’s difficult to tell when this is true and when it is not. I have witnessed Red-Amo going into a lake for the first time (it hadn’t been launched yet) and immediately proving successful. I also happen to know a fair few of the Dynamite field testers and they too reported great results almost from day one.
