Carp firm back two prestigious events.
The year 2013 see’s Taska sponsoring two of the largest carp fishing competitions on the calendar; the BCAC and the UKCC.

The 2013 BCAC sees the top UK competition carping tournament enter it’s 15th year and set to be bigger and better than ever. Jack Bowker, Taska’s Media Manager, explained: “With a host of new venues, a few tweaks to the format to make it more exciting, and some of the top venues in the UK carp angling scene included, it’s sure to be a great event.  Add increased TV, radio and magazine coverage and you can see why the BCAC is such a great launch pad for anglers careers.  Taska will be sponsoring Stow 1 on the competition during 21st to 23rd June and we believe that our association with the BCAC will be beneficial to both parties.

The other competition that we will be sponsoring is the UK Carp Cup (UKCC.) This is open to 200 anglers, who between them will fill places at 20 regional qualifiers from April to June 2013.  Taska will be sponsoring the Round 4 eliminator at Newland Hall, a short drive outside Chelmsford in Essex on the 14th to 16th June.   The Newland Hall Country Estate is situated with a picturesque 15th century Tudor Manor House with a moat, beautiful gardens and over 100 acres of woodland with four superb fishing lakes surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Newland Hall was part of the UKCC in 2012 for the first time and Taska are pleased to sponsor the eliminator round at the venue for 2013.

Taska MD Stephen Tasker gave his thoughts on the event; ‘We as a company are extremely pleased to be associated with such brilliant events which showcase the talent of the carp anglers which we have in this country.  It gives the everyday day angler the chance to compete against some of the big names in the industry and it can only be beneficial for everyone involved but most of all, it’s a whole lot of fun!’
