Take The Tf Gear Challenge!
Mammoth six-day competition with £10,000 prize!
Details have been confirmed for this year's TF Gear Challenge, which will be held between the 7th and 12th October, 2013.
The price is £1,000 per two fisherman team, but with big prices come big rewards. The winning pair will pick up a massive £10,000 prize!
The event will take place at France's prolific Fishabil Fishery. Fishabil is a world-renowned carp fishery, with over 500 years of history. In the past it has held six major European matches, two world cups and two European carp tournaments.
The stunning 85-acre lake holds many carp to over 60lb and is located in Brittany, one of the most picturesque regions of France. No less than eight world records have been set and approved by the international sportfishing Fédération at Lake Fishabil.
The event will start by drawing at 10am on the 7th October, 2013, baiting and feature finding can commence at 2.30pm, and the competition will commence at 3pm. Fishing will carry through non-stop until 3pm on 12th October. There will be numerous bailiffs, coordinators and judges on hand 24 hours a day to authenticate catches.
The draw will take place on the morning of the match and, as each number is drawn, anglers will have have the opportunity to choose their own peg, (draw number one and get the first choice of pegs, for example.) This method of draw enables you to employ as much watercraft and location skill as possible.
