Star Names Join Advanced Carp Fishing

New consulting Editor for popular magazine.
2013 promises to be the biggest and best year in Advanced Carp Fishing magazine’s illustrious history, as three of the biggest names in carp fishing join the line up. Adam Penning, Terry Hearn and Dave Lane add to an already impressive line-up which includes Jim Shelley, Jon McAllister and Darrell Peck, to name but a few.

Group Editor Marc Coulson, explained: “I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Adam Penning to the team. He’s an angler, and writer, who I have the utmost respect for and also consider him a very good friend. To have him on board is almost a dream come true. Adam joins  as consulting editor (a kind of ‘editor-at large, if you like) and will add his wealth of skill and experience as a big-carp catcher, as well as an exceptional talent as a writer, to the magazine on a monthly basis. Don’t miss Adam’s new technical series, examining the true workings of rigs, baiting and a host of tactics.
Adam is chomping at the bit to get involved and already has loads of great ideas as we move forward into the new year and beyond. He is particularly looking forward to writing the Editorial in the magazine each month and addressing some of the major issues affecting the modern carp angler. Be sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with the very latest goings on.

“Needing no introduction, the most famous carp angler of his generation, Terry Hearn joins as the brains behind our new Q&A series.Terry’s wealth of knowledge when it comes to catching the country’s biggest and best-known carp brings an entirely new dimension to these pages.

“Finally, Dave Lane’s wonderfully penned big-carp diary switches from sister title Total Carp to become a regular monthly fixture in ACF. Dave fishes hard for some of the biggest carp in the land – at least, the ones he hasn’t already caught in his illustrious career – and has a style of writing that captivates the reader. I’ve always rated Laney as one of the best writers in the game and, again, this offers something of extreme interest to the reader.

“These are exciting times for ACF readers and we’re all absolutely buzzing at the prospect of putting together what promise to be some brilliant-big-carp reads.”
