Icy reception for carrot nosed angler.
Intrepid carp anglers, Lynn and Ian Oldham were none too impressed to be snowed in this weekend - as they were looking forward to a session on their local big fish water. Sadly the bad weather made it impossible to drive their van off their drive, let alone out to the venue!

Not a pair to be easily put off, they instead put their time to good effect by creating a fishy creation of their own - complete with bivvy, angler, and fishing tackle!

Lynn explained: "Both me and my partner do a lot of carp fishing, but due to the bad weather this was not possible.The fact that our van got snowed in meant we could not go to work either, so to fulfill our time we spent the day making our own fishing snowman plus snowbivvy  and catch. Its not as good as the real thing, but was good fun while it lasted!"
