Fox ace Lewis Porter has already smashed one of his seasons targets, after banking a 36lb 10oz common from Cambridgeshire's Bundys Pit.

Although it is not the biggest fish that Lewis has caught from the water, the massive common is one of several fish that he had set himself as a target for 2013.

The fish was captured from the 60 feet deep pit after a 30 minute battle, and was one of six fish that Lewis banked during his session at the gravel pit.

A hinged pop up rig proved the winning formula, incorporating 35lb Cortex Matt mainline, with a 25lb Rigid hinge, as part of a simple lead clip set up.
