Manor Farm Catch Report July 15th

Lots of families were out on Damsel this weekend,  Midge caught a 15lb common and 10 bream, although he was not too happy about the bream..Amir had 4 to 10-13 but the best of the group was young Daisy who bagged an 18-08.

Dan Cox took 7 to 18-09 and a tench, Sam Holland 2 to 20-04, a PB for him. Dave had 4 mid doubles and his daughter Sophie kept up with him by catching 4 mid doubles too. Liam Redband took 2 to 17-04 and Lee Faulkner and his son 8 year old Cooper bagged 10 mid doubles between them. Phill Warren also had 4 mid doubles.

Carp Lake was far and away the most productive. Lisa bagged 9 to 21lb, her friend Tania was a bit disappointed to catch just one at 17-08 but was grateful to have saved a blank. Luke Reedman had a great 48 hours bagging up with 12 fish including 4 20's to 24lb. his dad Graham took 5 to 18-09 all of their fish fell to sweetcorn. Ashli Northfield took 7 fish up to two at 17lb. Robbie banked 1 at 19lb. Dave Clarke had 2 to 18lb and Kieran 5 to 16-08.  Dan Savill 5 to 21-08 and James Benson 5 to 20lb

 On Becks  Steve caught 5 to 13lb a tench and 2 bream. A small pike picked up Andy's boilie , he also had a low double and a tench. James took 3 commons to 20lb and a mirror at 17lb. Craig Reeves a 17-05 common 2 tench and a bream, Martin Reeves a 12lb common and 2 bream. Barry had 5 to 26-04 off the top.

Winters was a bit slower with Brain Morgan doing best with 5 to 25-08. Mark Robinson a 24-14

Booneys was fishing hard and only a 9-08 tench to Steven Freear reported. 

The Match Canal held the QWAC match in the week and their report is as follows:
Queen's fished their third Summer League match on The Match Canal at Manor Farm. In sweltering conditions, the carp fed well for most of the 20 anglers.
Dave Pearson pole-fished his favourite paste on peg 10 and claimed victory with carp and a few bream for 117lbs 4oz. Guest angler Paul Kyle fished meat in the margins for the runner-up spot with 93lbs of carp from peg 11 and Chairman Paul Stokes was third at peg 6 with 69lbs 2oz. Section winners were Peter Henegan with 53lbs and Steve Cooper with 44lbs 10oz. The prize for the biggest fish was shared by Micky Astle and Richard Newman, who both had a carp weighing 12lbs. The Wooden Spoon was awarded to Ray Gaines who went home early with a hangover! 

The Manor Farm Open Series on Saturday saw Alan Laney on 1st place with 51-05, John Patmore 2nd with 46-09 and 3rd Ceri Bolitho with 43-09.
