Prizewinner makes best of conditions by putting reels to good use!
Although the recent cold weather may have put the carp off feeding at a lot of our nation's fisheries, it didn't stop prizewinner, Brian Sansom from getting out and testing the set of carp reels that he won in a recent issue of Total Carp.

Brian explained: "It was a little cold for carp fishing at the weekend so I decided to put the two reels that I won as a prize to good use by taking them pike fishing! I caught seven in total between 8lb and 16lb, and certainly gave the reels the workout they needed! Needless to say I was very impressed!"
