Essex-based tackle manufacturer scoops editor's award at industry event



Marc Coulson, editor of the UK's biggest-selling carp fishing magazine, Total Carp, chose Fox as his favourite stand at this year's Tackle & Guns Trade Show, which sees leading companies launch their new ranges for 2015.

There was plenty of competition with impressive stands and products from many leading carp companies, including Shimano, Avid, Taska, Rod Hutchinson, Dynamite Baits and many more, but in the end Marc had this to say about his decision...

"I liked the way that Fox introduced genuinely useful products that added to an already impressive range, and didn't just bulk out its catalogue with more and more items just for the sake of it. Some of it showed true innovation as well, but what really struck me was Fox's keenness to listen to its customers via social media and then put products out that anglers genuinely want.

"The new Torque and Horizon X rods really stood out and I love some of the new Chunk clothing range. Two or three FX and Royale luggage items also caught my eye and the additions to the Cook Ware range will also prove popular. as we've come to expect from Fox, all of the new gear was presented superbly on what was an impressive stand, manned by knowledgeable and helpful staff.

"There was some serious competition from other stands, and notable mentions must go to Sonik for its impressive new Gravity X rod and to Taska for some very interesting devlopments, especially one or two hook link and leader materials. In the end, however, the overall presentation and the vast array of products available gave Fox the edge."
