Swindon-based Kev Hewitt bagged one of Linear Fisheries’ most famous residents this week in the shape of Manor Farm’s Birthmark Linear.


The majestic fish, one of Manor’s remaining ‘A Team’, weighed in at 39lb 15oz and was the highlight of a two-day trip while shooting a feature for Total Carp magazine.

TC editor Marc Coulson said: “Kev is a quality angler and thoroughly deserved the capture. That’s as honest a piece of weighing as you’ll find too. Many anglers might well have been tempted to call it forty!”
