Distance casting legend joins Nash team
It has been announced that Terry Edmonds has signed a sponsorship deal with Nash. The distance casting legend holds three official UK casting records, as well as two unofficial records.

A company source explained: “It is with the greatest pleasure that we can announce the signing of distance casting legend Terry Edmonds to the team here at Nash HQ.

Terry is a world renowned for his casting expertise and has a superb pedigree for finding distances in rods that you would never think possible. His expertise will be utilised as our in house rod developer, which will continue to set Nash rods apart from the competition in offering unrivalled performance and quality at every price point.

He has an impressive list of distance casting achievements and throughout his distance casting exploits Terry has cast three official UK distance records as well as 2 unofficial UK records – several of these casts are considered possible world records.  For the last five years Terry has been actively teaching private clients through tuitions on how to achieve this type of incredible casting performance.

Terry’s longest recorded fixed spool cast stands at a huge 287 yards using a 3 ½ ounce lead which again is considered a potential world record.

In terms of credentials as an angler, Terry has been fishing since he was a youngster growing up in Essex and has 33 years experience in all aspects of the sport with an equally impressive CV of captures topped off by a monstrous 49lb 8oz mirror.
