St Johns delivers string of twenties as fish go on the feed.

The carp of Linear’s St John’s pool are in feeding mood this week, a fact that top carper Kev Hewitt took advantage of to take ten fish haul from the day-ticket water.

Topped by this beautiful 29lb 2oz mirror known as Mini Shoulders, St John’s regular Kev also banked five other 20s for a superb late February session to remember.

Targeting a spot at 50yards range, the CC Moore-backed angler spodded out a small amount of Milkmini pellets and maggots to get the fish interested. Over this he presented CC Moore’s new optical Illusion Hellraiser pop ups, glugged in the matching dip – a combination that fooled every single one of his fish.
