Bait Tech Set To Grow

Success builds upon success for Ipswich outfit.
Bait manufacturer Bait-Tech have unveiled plans to continue their expansion into 2014. Although not quite over, 2013 has been another resounding success for the Ipswich based outfit as they already see growth and sales increase on previous year.

A press release from the company explained: "There is no getting away from recent years poor economic trading conditions. There is also no denying they have affected everyone. Bait-Tech though have come through this and shown improvements and growth. Sales are up in what seems to be a time when breakeven is an achievement.

The increase in sales is the momentum behind the investment for 2014 that has already been secured. Brand new bespoke machinery is currently being made for the company after a long period of development planning. This investment will see the production at the manufacturer’ s factory increase to a level which will enable them to service their growing original equipment manufacture business needs as well as continue to design, develop, produce and pack for the ever popular Bait-Tech.

Pete Clapperton, Bait-Tech Owner and MD commented: “We are extremely proud to have achieved what we have in such poor business conditions. Being connected with other leisure industry businesses its clear the industry as a whole is 20% down. Bait-Tech has once again grown which is testament to the brand, its products and the people who drive them. We are now in a position where we can invest in the future of the business and have been developing new machinery that will enable us to better service our customers. This brand new equipment will see production levels soar as we become more efficient in production leaving us more time for research and development.

We have big plans for 2014 and export will be one of them having just sealed a distribution agreement with a giant French company, which will see sales there double or possibly more.

We have a great team who are dedicated and motivated to make this work, and this new investment should see the wheels of expansion set firmly in motion for 2014.”

With some exciting new product set to hit the shelves in 2014 along with some truly innovative and unique products in development that could change the way we think and use bait. 2014 is going to be another busy and exciting year for Bait-Tech.
