91lb beast from Rainbow Lakes
It has been reported that Eric Smith has smashed the world common carp record, after banking a 91lb common carp from French water, Rainbow Lakes. The monstrous fish breaks the previous best of 89lb, caught from a German water.

Remarkably, the massive fish was already called ‘Eric’s Common’ as it was banked by the same angler at a smaller weight, earlier on in its life. We will bring more on this story as it develops.
